How do I join the RNA?
Here are the steps to becoming an RNA member and what is expected of the membership.
Q :What is the procedure for joing RNA?
A :
  1. RNA members must first be RAMAC members
  2. Contact our membership committee chairman, Joe Golebiowski, at Ph. 262.995.7018 or Fax 262.997.0786
  3. Attend a meeting and introduce yourself and your business
  4. The members will then vote on your membership
  5. Joe will inform you of the decision
Q :Is there a fee for joining RNA?
A :
There is an annual $120 membership fee. The fee is used to pay for marketing promotions for the RNA and its members. Examples include funding of the RNA website, RNA 'business cards', and expenses incurred at trade shows and similar events. There are no other fees unless the membership votes to fund a specific acitivity beyond the normal budget items.
Q :How often does RNA meet?
A :
RNA meets every Friday at 7:30 to 9:00 at RAMAC in downtown Racine. 7:30 to 7:45 is used to mingle and network informally. AT 7:45 to no later than 9:00 RNA follows a set agenda.

Q :Are there competitors within the RNA group?
A :
No, each member is a unique business within the group. RNA does not allow competing businesses with core products or services. Occasional overlap in fringe areas is permitted.
Q :What are the meeting attendance reuirements?
A :
A referral network relies upon the active participation of its members. RNA members become salesmen for each other. To do that effectively we have to get to know each other. At each meeting we all give a one minute 'elevator speech' and one featured member provides a 10 minute presentation. For this reason, we expect members to make every effort to attend the meeting. We ask that you control your schedule accordingly. If it is Thursday afternoon and you schedule an appointment for the next morning during our regularly scheduled RNA meeting, that is contrary to the best interest of the group. We understand that there will be unavoidable times when you must miss a meeting. In those cases a group email can be sent to inform the group of your absence. For special circumstances a substitue can be sent from your business, but the point of a network is to get to know each other and that can't happen unless the same person attends regularily. Frequent missed attendance would be reviewed by the membership with the possible consequence of being dropped from the group.
